Believer in every child's brilliance, Julie has dedicated her life to uncovering the hidden strengths in every student—and helping families nurture those gifts with wisdom, care, and joy.

Long before earning her degree from Columbia University’s Teachers College, Julie was already teaching. As a child, she’d line up her dolls like students, carefully crafting lessons and leading her own imaginary classroom. That calling started early, and never left.

She’s since taught in classrooms across the US and Asia, and for the past decade, she's led the UCI x GATI program, working closely with extraordinary K–12 students from around the world. With a background in special education, Julie has a rare gift: seeing potential where others might not—and nurturing it into confidence and capability.

What excites her most isn't just seeing students go on to places like Harvard, Yale, or Stanford—it's helping them discover gifts they didn't know they had, and watching them grow into who they truly are.
